Congratulations to Roy Plumlee, the overall match winner, with a score of 2149-16x.

The weather was much milder than we have experienced in recent month, but shooters struggled with gusty winds during the .22 and CF stages.   Arlene provided lunch on site with homemade spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and dessert of cherry cobbler and vanilla ice cream.   We welcomed a "new" old shooter, Ken Nichols, who joined us from Shreveport, Louisiana.  Our next match will be Sunday, October 23rd, and there will be an EIC service pistol match held that day in conjunction with the Club's Garand matches.

December 4, 2010 Bullseye Pistol Match Results

posted Dec 8, 2010 9:16 AM by Prescott

Shooters:

Here are the match results from December's 2700 Bullseye match at the Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club.    Congratulations to Daniel Miller, the overall champion, with a score of 2399-43x. Note that Daniel fired the Center-fire portion of the 2700 with an iron-sighted .38 Colt revolver.  Roy Plumlee took second place overall, firing a .45 S&W revolver for the CF stage.

Lunch was home-made chili and corn-bread, with spice-cake cupcakes for dessert.

This concludes our match schedule for 2010.

Stay tuned for our new match program for 2011, which will likely feature an NRA Approved 2700 Match each quarter, with lunch provided, for $20.  The other three matches in the quarter would be regular 1800 matches, without lunch.  At the shooters' option, after an 1800 we can run a practice National Match course for hard-ball or Distinguished Revolver.  Start time of 9:00am.  To be held on the fourth weekend of the month.  Not yet decided whether that would be a Saturday or Sunday.

September scores for all.

Thanks to all the S.O.s, for stage design and running the match, all scorekeepers and especially to Nancy for lunch, and all that helped register the shooters, paste targets and clean-up and put everything away.

Even with the extreme humidity we had a good turn out, and I hope everyone enjoyed the match and will return again. As always new shooters are welcome.

See you next month.

July IDPA Results

Here are the scores from this months match.

As always, a big thank you to all the Safety Officers, especially our newest S.O.'s for designing and set-up of the stages and running the match, Nancy and Nancy for signing up our shooters and serving lunch, and all that helped tear down and store the props and clean up.

Please remember that everyone working out there does this on their own time and effort to promote IDPA and encourage new shooters as well as our " old timers " to enjoy the shooting sports.

To all our new shooters, please go to the IDPA web site and look at the rule book, it will give you an understanding of the classes and scoring.
